Admin: I am mostly trying to find a color scheme that works, and am also working on getting the boards set up. If you can think of anything like places or landscapes for role play boards that would help, since I don't really know where to start there.
Fire: I like the blue color you have going. It is a dreamy-ish type scheme, so I think it would work. As far as boards go, you'll probably need a category for Confictura then one for the waking world. Perhaps users could be able to play out back-stories for their characters in the waking world.
Admin: I like that idea. I might also add another world, too, maybe Durcarus that can be like the waking world for monsters? And they meet in the dream world? That way while they are awake the natural and the dark worlds are separate, but in the dream world are one?
Fire: For Confictura, perhaps the place where people first appear can be some sort of lake. The water could be some sort of portal.
Admin: Thanks, I thought that too. I was going for a night time theme.
Admin: Ooo I like that. Like a mirror lake?
Fire: Yup, essentially. c:
Fire: Then there would be portals between Durcarus and Confictura as well, I suppose.
Fire: Having Ducarus is quite smart actually. It would allow users more flexibility with their character options to have monsters available. c:
Admin: How about Confictura's be in a jungle, and Durcarus' portal is in the pits of a cave? But they are both magical lakes?
Fire: That sounds good. c:
Admin: Ok, and what should we call the waking world? I don't want to call it Earth, but I can if I need too, since that's pretty much the idea.
Fire: Hmmm
Fire: Ecllars?
Fire: (Horah for name generators. xD)
Admin: It could work, or what about mixing the letters in Earth? Hetar or Rathe?
Fire: Hetar sound sort of sinister. I like Rathe though. c:
Fire: Regarding the worlds again, would the dreamers be able to choose if they go to Durcarus or Confictura? Would their conscious automatically make their decision for them? Perhaps if somebody goes to Durcarus, they automatically can't wake up again on Earth.
Fire: But maybe if they go to Confictura, they have the possibility of not getting stuck there and can go back and forth - though eventually I think they would get caught on the world.
Admin: All dreamers would go to Confictura, it's when they are awake that they are either on Earth where people go, or Durcarus where everything else lives. Confictura started as a simple dream world, where all creatures went in their dreams, and returned to their own world when they awoke, but lately they have been getting trapped in the dream world, where humans and mythical creatures are trapped together.
Admin: I like Rathe too, if you think I should keep trying I will.
Fire: Alright, sounds good to me. Would that mean that the other creatures had the possibility to return to earth then? Or do only the humans risk returning to a different world?
Admin: If they enter the wrong portal they either die, or become a member of that world. Like if a human entered Durcarus by mistake (or not) they would either die trying to enter the portal, or will become a monster, unable to ever be human again.
Admin: Does that work?
Fire: Oh okay. Yeah, it does.
Admin: From your questions on FF:
Perhaps it's like in the old stories, the spirits that are unable to pass on must complete a quest or task, before they can move on? But only spirits and special creatures know who are spirits, humans and more other life do not realize that the spirits are in fact dead, but spirits can tell that a creature is living?
Fire: I had to read that over a few times to make sense of that. xD But that sounds logical. Maybe the spirits can decide if they want to be seen or not by the living spirits?
Fire: Also, what does 'up to be claimed' mean?
Admin: Sorry I was worried it might be hard to understand what I meant. Glad you got it though.
Admin: Up to be claimed means either a leader, or a family, can claim the board, like a wolf pack has a alpha. I got lazy though, so I didn't right it all out. I'll make more, plus the continents will be claimable, but instead of the whole continent, they will own like a country, like the leader of North America can own the area making up Canada, or the US or something, but they will get to choose. And it will be like a king, but they will be able to run their 'kingdom' as they please and make up special rules for the people who serve them. They can even be a president and be elected and voted out if they want to run it that way.
Admin: It will be more for when more people join and things get more active, but I like to have a few already made to help things move along.
