I have been role-playing for about 10 years now, off and on, and I love it. I'm a 24 year old married new mother of one, so there may be times when I hit slow periods in replying but I'm a stay at home mom so it should never be too long. I have 4 cats who are bent on ruining my life and making my coffee furry (which is a horrible thing to do to the one who feeds them), I also have 2 turtles (used to have 3 but one committed suicide with the help of a negligent brother in law :/)
I'm excited to start role-playing with you all (and I'm tempted to lay claim on that haunted castle, just so you know). I have a few characters bouncing around in my head and I will list them below, I just have to figure out how they will fit into this world, so if you have any suggestions please let me know.
Characters I would like to make:
~A witch for that lovely castle, just at a loss for her species. Vampire perhaps? That castle screams it's need for a vampire occupant.
~A cat character modeled after one of my own, she is a tortoiseshell. Before going over the species list I was thinking about her, I was considering making her a witch healer, but I may drop the witch part in favor of that castle occupant. She's going to be a bit of a hippy as soon as I figure out her species. In my head she was like the Khajiit from skyrim, a cat humanoid covered in fur, but we may be able to work something out. I am not familiar with the gastyn species so maybe one of them? If not I may create something, depending on what is allowed and how flexible I can be in this world. Possibly having a human character become a sleeper only to become a cat-like creature in confictura? I don't know.....
~I need a werewolf character always I'm not quite sure about her yet.
If anyone wants to bounce ideas off of any of this let me know

but species are pretty much what ever you can think of.
