Random info:
I'm the eldest of two in my family, and I'm currently studying Literature - err this is my first year in college, and term break is coming soon (so is finals) so I presume that I will be more active here when that time comes because I don't really study lol. I'm in my campus now, should be studying but ah, well, who really does that extensively anyway. I am a girl and I do have a persian cat (for those who are interested) - I live in the Philippines so my timezone is pretty wonky (GMT +8) - hmm what else is there?

I guess for something more important:
I've been roleplaying since 2009, a little past the same time I began to write as a hobby. I've been acquainted with forums for also around that amount of time, though I have never really gotten the hang of using proboards to RP, hence I may come across as a newbie to you in some aspects. I am a semi-lit/literate RPer - I would usually mirror my fellow role-players in length, but when I get 'carried away', so to speak, I may end up writing some long posts P: I used to be a fanfiction writer so...yeah. Uhm I prefer playing male characters (almost all of my OCs are male hahaha) and I actually prefer 1 x 1 role-plays, but I'm cool with roleplaying with three to four people. This is because I fear I won't be able to catch up properly due to my timezones - which have caused problems for me in the past ahaha.

EDIT: Oh, yes, I forgot to mention that I doodle more than I write now, but I'm trying to get back into RPing ;v;
So yeah I may post some of my sketches here. And I would probably draw my characters rather than use face-claims (if that's a thing here).

Hope I'll be active here~ I guess I will be making my character some time soon, but I should really do my papers first hehe.
And I should really buy that sandwich I'm starving :U

Yes, sadly, school comes before characters. But mental health comes before school--that's my excuse.

Well, the timezone is definitely several hours off of mine, but hopefully the zones won't interfere too horribly in general. I know I'm inclined to try for a higher word count in this sort of environment than in other corners of the web, and that means more thought and more time between posting.

Cats definitely interest me. Cat stories as well. Oh the shenanigans... I love them. I sort of want to compare cats to Furbies--bear in mind, I'm the sort who finds Furbies adorable rather than terrifying--but there are plenty who consider Furbies demonic and all sorts of other words with negative connotations. Then again... cats do seem to be a bit insane the majority of the time. I can't stay focused, this subject is giving me too many tangents to work with. Sad Cat Diary.

As for being new to RPing on ProBoards, I wouldn't worry too much; you might not be the only one figuring stuff out. I know I have a tendency to announce my findings even when they aren't entirely new. That's usually a bit embarrassing--"Hey! I just found out you could do such-and-such! " "Yea... and?" Hehehe.

I know all about putting off going out to get food. Very glad to be living in an apartment rather than the dorms. At my school, the main cafeteria has an all-you-can-eat sort of setup, but it's really not that great. I do miss eating pumpkin pie practically every day, though. Be careful with the laziness; that stuff is dangerous.
